2g crank gear in 1g

I was wondering if I could use the crank gear from my 2g on my 92 6-bolt? I searched and only found one post on it, but it still didn't say if it would work for sure.

Also, how hard would it be to just wire the 2g crank angle sensor to the 2g crank gear on the 1g front case? I'm sure if it were easy someone would have done it by now, I was just wondering.

and if that doesn't work, anyone have a crank gear from a 6-bolt that they wanna sell for cheap?

I'm pretty sure that is interchangeable ... if not I have a spare 6 bolt one in my garage.

OK, I talked to some tuners about this today and this is what they came up with:

With a 6-bolt you cant use the crank sensor, you will have to use a 1g cam angle sensor. And 2g cam gear sprockest will work.
