I'm sure it is not that easy, if it was there would be 50 Forced Performance like companies everywhere. I haven't heard anyone and I mean not one person say anything bad about any FP turbo. In the world of low quality products I don't mind paying FP more money for a high quality turbo. I know where I'll be buying my Big T28. :D
 
that first td06h just looks like a t3 open throat e/h w/ a t3 bearing housing...

actually, i'm almost certain that that bearing housing is a garrett bearing housing, not mitsu, but i cuold be mistaken.
 
to clarify, a 7cm exhaust haousing will fit on this? Along with the oem drain line and feed?
 
the 22c is a TE06H wherehas the 23a is a TD07S. the 22c is a banks powerstroke kit which is goign to be a pain in the ass to find, but the 23a wheel is easy, mitsu has it at their factory

if i had pictures of them i'd post them, but i don't have any at my shop at the moment.
 
that's exactly what I want to know. Will the 7cm housing fit? I think it should if that is a TDO6h turbine wheel. Think 7cm on a TDO6 20G (w/TD06H turbine wheel). According to post 3 by logic, the 24V should come with a machined TDO6 turbine housing to accomodate the TDO6H wheel.....not a T3.:confused:
 
The two housings it comes with are 12cm t3 or 16cm twin scroll. Both too big for dsm use. You can machine a 7cm housing to fit the tdo6h wheel (has to be an early 7cm housing, as evo 7cm doesn't have enough meat ). You can also use a bullseye housing, which I think will be the best route to go.
 
ok. Is there anyone willing to try this "new" recipe?.....
 
where can you find the right housing, instead of buying one through bullseye? Also, how much machine work are we talking here? There seems to be some confusion as to what a person really needs to run this turbo, so can we clear it up now?
 
yeah id like to know... i have an old style bullseye housing for the 14,16g, E316 g and im not sure but maybe 20g too... it is ported and has a 38mm internal gate. I was wondering if the wheel would fit with this hot side, or possibly a 20g...??
 
We have tried a 7cm housing on the 24V and mocked it up and the compressor cover is just so freakin big that it looks like it belongs under the hood of a tractor trailer. We are probably going to give bullseye a call and see if they can make up some housings. I will check back in shortly.
