I was thinking about going the same route and getting a maaco type place to paint my car. Now im heavily favoring it, your paint looks great. Did you do the prep work yourself or did they take care of that? Seems like from what ive heard from other people, the paint can turn out pretty damn good if you do the prep work yourself. Nice car and IMO, black on black w/ a chrome lip is sick. Played out or not, its hot.

P.S. - I think you should do the roll call (if you must do it :p ) in the same color as the car. Ive seen a few white and black cars w/ a roll call in the same color and you cant notice til you get right on the car. Makes it very clean looking.

Good idea! :) I didn't do any of the prep work... But I would imagine if you did all the sanding that the paintjob would come out better. They would have to focus less time on prep and spend more time on painting it. I asked them if it'd be any cheaper if I prepped it but they said no.

im going to paint my car as well same company but im getting the manager special which is 479 and included paint and clear coat 4 coats of it actualy, glossy black thats what im going for as well.

Wow, that's weird... Didn't know too many people were a fan of the red.

i like red too.

but the black does look nice, especially w/ those rims. and i think a dark silver/gunmetal roll cage would be a nice touch. (just a 'little' contrast, not too much)

hmm... I see. Do you get paid for plastering their logo on your car? If not it's pretty stupid if you ask me....

yeah i always thought it was a "hey look what i got inside.... steal me!!!" banner

Personally I have always loved the look of a nice roll call on the side of a car. To me it looks sharp. But thats just my opinion. BTW, the cars paint job looks HOT. A lot better than mine!!

Thanks man.. Yea, I think roll calls look good, also. I don't plan on getting it in white or silver anything. Not too bright. Maybe a gunmetalish type grey color.

No problem. I'll prolly get mine in silver. My car is a black pear color. However the guy painted it outside with WAY too much moisture in the air so it has orange peel from front to back. It sucks. So I have to get it re-painted b4 I do the roll call.

Ah man, that sucks. I bet it looked nice, too. Just check out Earl. Don't have to worry about your jambs and engine bay since they're already black.

Hey wassup. Im up north of sac pretty much in yuba city. It really only cost 300? Did you get hooked up or something? My front bumper is in horrible condition with a crack in the side so Im gonna get another one so I will need it painted. Where is this place located? My car is silver and I want a darker silver like the s2k. So I dont care about the jams either. Damn I cant wait to get mine done.

Hey man. Yea, I've seen ya' on Sac-DSM. I didn't get hooked up. They're just having some special right now. If you pay 400 you get a 6yr warranty and more colors to choose from.
