They're actually gunmetal but they came out kind of dark. They have more of a shine and the paint I used is awesome. It's got a slight flake to it.

Thanks for the props guys. Other than clear corners do you have any other suggestions to up the looks of my car?

Looks great! That's the look I was envisioning with my Black 97 GSX. However, I'm afraid to leave holes in my trunk. How difficult was it to paint the wheels? And are they stock?

don't get clears they're too common, or if you do, tint them with nightshades. it will look cleaner. just my .02. but i like it. other than that, haha :thumb:

I've painted wheels about 6 times... It took like 4 hours and surprisingly only 1 can for all four. They are 17x7 Rota Subzeros.

Yea, I was thinking about either clear or those VHT Niteshades. That wouldn't be overkill on black, though? Lol.

get a chrome :dsm: emblem for the front bumper.

Your car looks sick. I love wingless 2G's. Looks kinda like another member on here, dsm. Just black instead of white. :thumb:

Looks good man. I like the look of wingless 2G's. Wheels look hawt :thumb: Yeah. I would tint/black out the bumper lenses (I am doing that today). And if you want to complete the look a little I would try to remove the amber peice inside the headlight housing. I painted my 2Ga Housings black and removed the amber. Just a thought.

am i the only one who hates black on black schemes? so dull and boring. you have a dsm, it is a very classy car. dont bring yourself down by doing what hundreds of hondas do by doing black on black for that "sleepR" look. and put the dam wing back on, without it it looks like a fat hooker dragging her ass down the street. just my opinion though.

if you like it more power to ya.

And neon underbody kits are classy?

Thanks for the link, by the way. :thumb:

Lmao.

I'd say keep the wing on for now, until you know for sure it's going to get filled and painted in. You never know, you could be driving with it raining and eh...you know what else. :p

yea I like it better with the wing on there. As far as the wheels ... they look nice. I can't stand black rims, but since you left the lip polished they look ok. Good job painting.

looks nice -- i would paint the fmic piping black so it dont stand out.

myself, i think the piping looks good! very noticible and just as intimidating as the FMIC itself IMO!! i say keep that silver.

as for the overall looks... very nicely done. my compliments to the chef :thumb:

Thanks guys. Yea, I was debating on whether or not painting the piping. Either black or gunmetal to match the rims. I think it does look pretty mean being able to see the piping. We'll see. Again, thanks for all the feedback. :thumb:
