New Look. What Do You Think

I've never really liked the black hood type of things.
Until, I bought the hood for 20 dollars.
Then, I saw the rims for 100 dollars, thanks joe (Crazy1gb)
So this is the finished product.

Paid 120 for black hood and rims.
77.00 for Dismount and Mount of tires.

I've chosen not to move to a 2gb because most people do,
I'm still trying to find something more unique.

Criticism is accepted, i'm open to all opinions

yea it looks way better, im doing the same thing keeping he 2ga look, i did the 2gb look a while back then ralized i didnt like it as much as i thought i would. but you car looks good.

Yeah I agree.
I think i'm going to go with the 2gb side skirts though.
And repaint the bumpers, and go with a small lip kit.

Just to be different.

Possibly a silver panda.

my crit. for you is..... paint the inside of the headlights black... would tie in with the rest of the car great. looks good though. I can't tell cause I am outside on my laptop, but tinted windows would help too.

Looks pretty sweet. Dont be afriad to switch to the 2GB bumpers....plenty of 2GB cars are unique. But I do like the 2ga look when its done right.

I've never been into the 2ga eclipse look but this one is pretty clean! If i wanted it to have the 2ga look, i would go with the talons, IMO it flows better.

my crit. for you is..... paint the inside of the headlights black... would tie in with the rest of the car great. looks good though. I can't tell cause I am outside on my laptop, but tinted windows would help too.

And they are tinted.. 20% polarized.
Which looks weird because it's not black.
I'm changing today actually.

I'm i'm going with a black turbo spoiler to contrast the hood in the back.
I might do a lip kit though. Not quite sure.

Yeah, I agree.
I've never really been into the 2ga, but i decided to kinda change up the norm on the 2g.

I love the Talons, especially the black top.
But I have an eclipse..

I agree though, Talons do flow a lot nicer.

Talon's to me just make a better sleeper, but the more i look at your car the more i like it. I do agree with the black housings all the way though. Maybe leave the amber corner though to make it like a 2ga/2gb hybrid look, and not soo much as just a black projector type housing like the cheapbay has.

It looks sharp, I think I'd go with the clear side markers, it would make for a nice match to your entire paint scheme.

I've got some clear ones.
And they're REALLY aged..
so I went with some FREE brand new ambers :]]

Yeah, black housing would make the diff.
I also thing that changing the low spoiler to high would be sweet too :]

bad outlook but true in the same sense....kinda brings to mind the new scion commercial "It is that which makes us different!....that brings us together"

I like the idea man and it is looking great but in my opinion dont touch the spoiler....too much too much

I agree, but when you're 16 and you have to buy everything yourself.
You'll do almost anything to make any car unique.

Well, it's off of a 95 esi that was hit in the side.
The only thing was the tip on the passenger side was bent up.
So I took a towel, covered the hood and bent it back.
The guy took the engine, and is parting it.
He's selling the hatch for 35 so I might take that and get the top sprayed.
But we'll see.


And, it's wingless/spoilerless which means drilling holes for a turbo spoiler would be cheap.

I'm a sucker for black wheels. I just picked up tsi swirlies which are gray that I will be going with a polished lip and a super dark gunmetal looking grey. Maybe almost like a black chrome. Im not to big into the 2ga but for some reason yours has a look to it that gets my attention and keep telling me " go ahead and stare "

+1 on leaving the spoiler. I think you will find it looks out of place once you put it on. unless you paint the whole top half of the car like the 1g's.....?? The housings though, would make a huge difference for very work/time.

I know what you mean about keeping it a 2ga. That is why i didn't convert my last one, cause everyone was doing it. Then i got a great deal on a 98 gsx and couldn't pass it up. now i am a 2gb guy and wouldn't buy another 2ga ever. car looks good though. keep it up.
