Hello everyone, I once again have another question about my interior, I have searched the forums for a while now and I can't seem to find exactly what I need. Anyways, I stripped my whole car recently because we are planing on redoing the whole thing. As I started to remove the headliner things became grim....I quickly realized the previous owner rewired the sunroof and when he went to put the headliner back up the just glued everything up there WTF. So the only way to get it down was to rip the thing up. After I got everything out I realized half of the actual foam wasn't there and he had just glued the fabric to the metal!? I have NO clue what the guy was trying to do...but it sure gave me a headache. Can I buy a replacement headliner board with fabric? Will I just get a board and have to redo the fabric? Also, If i get a replacement how do I make it stay up? I don't know the actual way since the guy just went glue crazy

Any help guys?
Thanks,
Schwebe

i had the same issue, and i searched and searched and searched all over for the foam but couldnt find any. your best bet would be to just go to the junk yard and pull one out some junk yards might not even charge you for it.
i would personally redue the lineing, unless the one you pull is in perfect condition.

i forgot to mention that the headliner is usually held up but you rubber door trim, and sun roof trim and maybe a couple bolts here and there, but im sure you can just get away with the rubber trim.

Well i know the junk yards around here have no talons, would an eclipse fit? I had no clue that it was held up by that though! Thanks a lot!:thumb:

yea it will talon and eclipse same thing just different body styles and come electronics.

Yes it is all the same. The only differences are in the bumpers, lights and side skirts.

Okay thats good then! The only other question I have, my sunroof controls are different than any other Talon I have seen, I have an ESI and I've only seen TSI controls, are they different in anyway or did the previous owner replace mine?

I do know the sunroofs are the exact same. But are you sure the headliners are the same Bud? The Avenger/Sebring roof looks longer.
