i just bought a new head from some head company on this site, 460 for 3 day air, + 130 for the complete gasket set and head bolts from parts dinosaur on ebay, so 600 for the head and all. but my question is this, i have new cam gears and does anyone think i should still mess around with them or just put them on and leave them at 0. i seen it was good to advance intake by 2, and retard exhaust by 1, some guy from 2gnt told me so, but does this sound good? any help would be appreciated
the lines of a crank puller, and that tool to do the tensioner pulley, and the thing to take off and put on cam gears, stuff like that, any ideas? this is my first time, and a guy i work with done this to his 1g, so he will be teaching me, yay!
