New front Rotors and front brakes ---Stock or Aftermarket?

I dropped my car off at Mitsu. cuz I've been having probs and they told me that I needed new front rotors because they are too thin and that I need new front brakes. Soooooo.....I don't know how to check them or not but I was thinking and should I go for aftermarket rotors and brakes or just buy them from Mitsu. or what? Would there be any benefits from getting aftermarkets and would this be something I can do myself? Thanks for any help guys

well, when you are looking for the leak...did you poor soapy water on your intake pipes and IC pipes at all? because then when it leaks, you can hear it fizzing and and see the bubbles...other than taht. i would try to find some DSM guy in your area that really knows what is going on and have him help you!

Yeah I've used soap and water. Sprayed it down like 50 times.... I don't know what else to do...pos. I wish I could find someone over here to help

IMO, it sounds like your alternator is bad, i could be wrong, and someone else with a lot more experience might want to verify this for me, but that's what my old car (96 cavalier) did before it's alternator went

Yeah thats actually what I was thinking as well, but I tested the Alt. and it was okay. Doesn't really make sense. I tested it by running the car and unplugging the batt. to see if it still ran and it did.

that's actually a bad thing to do (at least i've been told by several mechanics) and can harm your alternator more than test it, it'd be better off to haul it over to autozone or someplace and have them test it (i believe autozone does this for free)

autozone does do it for free (at least here in PA) as long as it's out of the car. good luck getting that thing outta there!

So I still haven't gotten my brakes yet, are the power slots still the way to go?
