New exhaust with fiberglass resonators, burning?

I just put on a new turboback and it has 2 built in resonators and a muffler on it and as soon as I put it on it started smoking when I started it up. It didn't do this before I put it on so I'm pretty sure that is what it is, I have heard that the resonators will blow up and burn out leaving just an empty canister pretty much and that doesnt bother me but has anyone else noticed this when putting on a new exhaust and how long before it stopped smoking all the time?

Is it smoking out the tailpipe or is the exhaust itself smoking?

I ask as some of the aftermarket exhausts are packaged with a clear protective plastic layer on the resonator/muffler. If not removed.. well you know the rest

No it is actually coming out of the exhaust but it has a different smell it DEFINATELY isn't oil so I'm not worried about that and its not coolant because I am running fine, It just started doing it bad after I put the exhaust on so I am really thinking it could be the fiberglass in the muffler and resonators.

Most new mufflers smell for a while but I've never seen one smoke.
