New DSM owner!

Hey everyone,

First off my name is Jesse. I live in Lincoln, Nebraska. I just bought my first DSM a few days ago. It's a 1991 Eagle Talon TSi AWD, black. I bought it from a friend of mine who wanted a '91 GSX instead (probably the cleanest 1g GSX I've ever seen). It has all free mods, a FMIC, flowmaster exhaust, MBC, balance shaft elimination, Wally 255, all braided fuel lines, and an HKS BOV. I already love the car, and am looking forward to my next upgrades. DSMs are pretty popular here, so I know a lot of people who have them and have lots of support. I am joining this forum as a tool to help me learn more and as a link to other people with the same interests. I also love the classified section of course.

congrats on your 1st dsm.

something i like to do (not a necessity) is change out all the fluids, change all the filters, ect. just so you have the peace of mind knowing it was done/done properly and you can keep track of the next time it needs to be done.

^ +1. Unless they were all changed right before you bought it, its a good thing to do now. It's also a good way to get to "know" your new car a bit. I wish more dsm people lived around me. The scene here is pretty much dead.
