my car has always had good o.p. i just had new cv joints put in it, now for some reason i have high oil press.? it has a new sending unit switch.

The factory gauge is not very true. Basically most of them are just a sign that you have oil pressure and are very far off reading wise. If you really want to monitor your oil presure get an aftermarket kit.

The new switch is most likely reading higher because it is working properly. Think about it. There is a reason you replaced it. :D
But like what was already said to know for sure where your oil pressure is at you would need to get an aftermarket kit.
