new clutch and flywheel now car won't start

so this week me and my dad put a new Stage 2 Comp Clutch and Fidanza flywheel in my 95 talon awd tsi... took us some time but we got it all apart changed and put back together... we got it down off the jack stands and i went to start it and all it does is turn over and burble alittle bit and puff out black smoke... it will sometimes act like it wants to start but with no sucess... i'm kinda lost as to how the car could be running perfectly fine and we change taht and all of a sudden it won't even start... give me ideas ### i'm completly lost on this one

Define "burble" and are there any sounds that arent normally heard when you crank it?

well i mean in burble is it just kinda sputters like its gonna start but doesn't and no there no other sound that i don't normaly hear when i start it up...... i'm pretty lost to as what it is... i'm headin over to the garage tonight to try and figure it out

We buried one of the ground cables behind the batt. when we installed the FMIC. Took us an hour to figure it out. I bet there is something unplugged, disconnected, or halfway off.

yea we check, double checked and eve replaced the spark plugs and no dice... this is almost tickin me off.. i'm gettin sick of driving my moms jetta around o i'm really lost as to what it is... so if anyone has any more ideas it would be helpful
