Background: Purchased car and drove an hr back home. Stopped a couple times turning the car off and it started fine. Got back home and decided that the clutch needed to be replaced so i do that and get it back together no problem. I go to start it after hooking everything back up and i get everything but action from the starter.

I have a fully charged battery, brand new starter. not sure what i missed when putting it back together. all suggestion thanks ahead of time.

I would check to make sure you connected the ground wire that goes into the back of the starter, sometimes this wire gets pinched when you put the tranny back on. Also the little plastic connector likes to break.

i agree. check to make sure you have the source and ground wires connected properly. check your fuses and check your relays.

The ground wire should be connected to the lower bolt that holds the starter to the tranny. Also make sure you connected the black wire clip to the starter, and make sure you didn't connect the power wire to the wrong terminal on the starter. The ground wire should NOT be connected to a terminal on ther starter either.
So in conclusion there should be 3 wires for the starter.
Postiive wire to the starter terminal
black clip to the starter terminal
ground wire, slide this onto the lower bolt that holds the starter to the tranny and then tighten it up.

Find out what your problem is first of all, dont just assume it has something to do with the transmission. check for spark and fuel and find out which one is missing and go from there. My guess is that you have no spark, test for this and if its the case then check your fuses. Also not sure if you removed your wires or not, but if you did make sure you put them back correctly.
