New car: What to do first

I'm going to buy a 95 talon esi with a six bolt swap. It has a 14 b turbo with a front mount intercooler and greddy bov with xbc boost controller . Also greddy cat back exhaust. I need to replace the head gasket and than i want to mod what should i do first and how much are the mods.
