I picked up a new shell, going from a 1g to a 2g, and swapping my 1g engine in my 2g,
How does anyone that does a 6 bold swap mount the coil pack to the air intake manifold?
Is there any MAJOR modification needed to be done to change a 1g 7bolt to a 2g 7 bolt?
What should i keep from my 2g 7 bolt for for this car?
Whats needs to be done to the crank angle sensors?
What sensors on the air intake manifold will i need to change?

Im a noob,but im sure you will be told to search,im in the process of the same swap,if using the complete head and block on the 1g use your 2g mount it has to be grinded a bit to clear water pump,get the cas adapter about 50 bucks,have to make your on mount i beleive for coil pack.there are some more things ,so just search 1g in 2g and a lot will pop up.

If i understand correctly, i wont need cas wiring harness for a 1g 7 bolt to a 2g 7 bolt, also if im told to search i will report their posts. This is because i cannot find a 7 bolt to a 7 bolt swap, only a 6 bolt to 7 bolt. Complete different from my questions.

Not meaning to offend you but its a 1g 7 bolt, not a 6 bolt. I HAVE searched and havent found nothing on this.

I have a 1g 7 bolt in my car. I just used my stock 2g head with it. The only thing I had to do was to wire in the CAS sensor and trim the motor mount bracket a little and that was it. It is a very easy and straight forward installation.

Thank you, i cannot use the head because the one that i got is trashed, and my 1g 7 bolt has new valve stems retainers, springs, the whole nine yards. Thank you!

Then you will need to come up with a way to mount the coil, as well as the MAP sensor that that 1g intake manifold is not drilled for.

Will the 2g intake mani bolt up to my 1g head?

Yes it will bolt up but the ports are alot smaller on the 2g manifold.
