new car new engine no spark

I have a 90 gsx, bought the car w/ a blown motor. The car ran good b4 the dropped rod. It had a new ecm. It sat for about a year before I bought a new motor. I installed the new motor and now I have no spark? This is my third dsm, been around them for ten years so I know the gremlins. I've researched the hell out of this, and done every test imaginable. Anyone got any ideas?

Check the MPI fuse and relay. Are you getting a CEL for 5 sec when you turn the key to the on position without trying to start it?>

Not sure, I'll check tonight. I talked to a guy thats been working on dsms for 25 years last night and he said its either the efi relay or ecm. Will check this stuff out tonight.

That's impossible because the first 'DSM's were made in 1989. Anyway, yes, start with the basics. All ignition components, fuses, relays, ECU, shorts, then wiring in between.

They made Mitsubishi before there was the eclipse. Any way, I got my car running! I took the day off to work on it. It payed off! Just for shits and giggles I went ahead and tried another cam angle sensor and it fired right up. Aparently the first time I tested it I got a false read. I've got a boost leak on the intake somewhere. I was to tired to look tonight. Atleast I got to here it run! Thanks for all the help everyone.
