New 16g times, yes deep into the 12's

seeing that makes me very happy. As soon as i get my car runnig and tuned i may be able to his a flat 12 or maybe the ever elusive 11!!! :D

Wow, I definately am looking to get into that range for #'s. Low 12's...but on pump gas I was aiming to get a 50 trim FP Green to be exact. Looking at what you have run not too sure anymore OMG

Nice, that gives me lots of confidence with my setup. I trap 110.8 on 20psi and pump gas, I wonder what my car would do with more boost and race gas

sure there are guys that hit 11's on a 14b and 16 g. Are they running nitrous? How much do they weigh?
Either way its a great time. It doesn't have to break records to get props :thumb:

Naw, when I go to the track I don't change a thing (except for my tire pressure) I doubt race gas will ever see my car. I like to know that what it does at the track is exactly what it will do everyday. :thumb:

Also my car is full interior on a 2g with leather, power seat, moon roof. I think that time is impressive. I know there are faster. But i guess darryl hudson does not get props for going mid 9's b/c someone has gone faster. :rolleyes:

I like how you put 12.3's at 26psi If you knew anything about this turbo you know it wont hold boost. It goes to 26 then drops right away across the rpm to 19psi by readline. I made my peak hp at 20psi. but if i dont run that high boost it will drop even lower to about 17-18psi.

I never said this was special, or im the king of the 16g anywhere so your comment is not needed.

I have heard that too many times and I don't buy it. You buy a big turbo so you can run a ton of boost on it on race gas. Plain and simple. :) Now if we were getting 98-100 octane pump gas like some other parts of the world, maybe I would stick to pump but not with the 93 -91 owl piss I find here. :laugh:

although, you should try race gas just once ;)

nice time for a full weight, minimally modes car on pump gas.

BTW isn't the small 16g way out of it's efficiency range at that boost. Not trying to hate on you, just some questions. :thumb:
 
Very nice times man.

Also, DSMTIMES.ORG shows that the fastest S16G time is 11.807@ 115+
and the fastest B16G is 11.777@ 112+. So you are doin very well IMO.

My mods are in my profile. i have RC 550's

Also yes its out of its efficiency range at 26psi. But what it does it hold though 24-20psi longer when i set it higher, and it also makes more torque this way. The boost drops so much that running 26psi it will drop down to 19psi by 7k. So the higher i set the boost the higher it is at 7k. any higher than 26psi doesnt do anything but help detenation, which is not good.

And thanks for the cemplements. If i can get this turbo to hold a few more psi 12.0's i dont see to think would be out of reach. I know i would have went 12.2s that night if i could have shifted into 2nd. I pulled a 1.67 60ft and couldnt get into 2nd. Got it into 2nd and went 12.9@110mph So it could have went 12.2s i belive.
