Yeah, I keep the air pressure pretty low to where I have a wrinkle in the tire. Right at around 13 psi. Seems to hook better but when I make a pass or 2, they heat up enough to where the wrinkle goes away and I have to let some air out. Then they do intermission and they cool off and get too low and I have to air them back up (so I bought a portable air compressor for this reason). If I'm able to get a taller size slick, that's what I'm gonna do next time I have to get a set.

Although I ran a slower et last time (having a passenger, missing gears, blowing clutch, etc.), I know I was putting more power down. I was really having a hard time trying to hook well in 1st gear. But guess a stutterbox would help pretty well with that as well. Or maybe a dual stage boost controller.

Im looking for mid 12's this sunday from the set up on my car. I going to make passes with and without the water/alcohol system. It want boost the big16 past 17psi unless i have that on. Im going to give the car some cool off time to when we get down there. Im looking forward for some good passes. My nieghbor was telling me not to launch my car because of the shaft may bend. I dont think that will happen

What do you mean it won't boost past 17 without it on??? What?

Bending a shaft if you launch??? Hahahaha!!!!

Are you still using the stock diff/trans?

Pretty curious as to the 60' times fwd is capable of without an LSD. Going to PM you with some more questions if you arent running an LSD.

:)

Yes, stock diff and trans. Those times were with an Evo16g but I have a T-67 turbo on it now that'll hopefully be running tonight or tomorrow and I'll have a stutterbox now, still with a stock diff and trans but dunno how long it'll hold with the extra power. We shall see.
