lasttimei did the AWD swap it took a full day of searching to find the part number for the left hand (drivers) intermediate shaft seal at the trans

some where i saw a hyundai used the same seal on some car, can ANYONE give me the parts store numbers for that seal and any others as the aprts stores are idiots and can't find anything and I don't want any more problems than i already have getting my car back on the road this week

Need

left intermediate (CV) seal at trans
rigth CV at trans (think this one is easy)
output seal to t-case
input seal to t-case
t-case output to driveshaft and that would make my week

I can't find any of them and mitsu wants a week to get them in and doen't stock em argghhh i'm starting to hate thie car this year

Looking for parts store numbers, not placesto buy from online, but thanks... I'mswapping the trans asap, i don't wanna waut 4 days on seals, i will just have to make the idiots at the parts storespull every damn seal i can finda history of in my receipts and see what i comeup with

I'm looking for "national" or "nok" brandpart numbers to buy locally, i know they are available cause i've got em before, jsut the parts store computeres have all the wrong numbers in them, the left intermediate shaft seal is the sameas someold hyundai FWD trans seals is all i remember

thanks though

I'm going to assume you have a manual form your last thread about auto swapping.

Oreilly's trans seal options. Wouldn't hurt to browse through them all.
List: Search for 'transmission seals' | O'Reilly Auto Parts

Possibly the front axle seals? Part number: 759042
Pioneer Inc. 759042 - Axle Metal Clad Seal | O'Reilly Auto Parts

Also possible axle seals? Part number: 223014
Master Pro Bearing/Seal 223014 - Wheel Seal | O'Reilly Auto Parts

Input Shaft Seal for Trans Part Number: 712007
National 712007 - Oil Seal | O'Reilly Auto Parts

Like you said, the part numbers are all sorts of messed up in the computer at Oreilly's. Top option I posted says "manual trans seal" and then under options list the f4a33-1 Automatic trans. :ohdamn:.

Trans Input shaft seal at Napa. Part number: NOS 9709
NAPA AUTO PARTS

Trans Output shaft seal at Napa. Part number: NOS 14787
NAPA AUTO PARTS

Tranfer Case Input seal at Napa. Part number NOS 11592
NAPA AUTO PARTS

And according to Jacks (if I'm reading correct at 4am), the input seal can also be used as the output seal. But according to JNZ, the input seal is the same as the output shaft seal for the trans, which is a bit confusing.

OEM Input/Output Seal : JNZ Tuning

Sorry I can't give you a definitive answer, but I sure hope this helps out. Parts store websites and stores are truly aimed towards John Doe and his 87 Chevy pickup. Every manufacturer deciding to have a different part number for the same thing doesn't help either. But some words of advice to help navigate the parts stores:

There is nothing wrong with handing the guy at the parts store a seal and saying "go fishing". I have searched for hours through thousands of tiny boxes to find the perfect seal for the customer. It's their job to do so. If you have the receipts with all the oil seals you purchased lately, it will just make it that much quicker for them. If not, they can look the receipts up fairly easily. And lastly, they have a fancy little trick on the computer called "Interchange" in the catalog. They can type in 90% of part numbers and get a matching part from their inventory pulled up in seconds (if they carry it). Mitsu part numbers don't really work, but most others do.

Good luck!
