Hey, I recently did a compression test with 3 and 4 cylinders being 90 psi and below, all I have done to my car so far is

K&N Filter
3rd Gen Revised Lifters
MAS Mods
3" Turbo-back Exhaust

Now I'm just wondering is it prrb not a good idea to continue modding without rebuilding the engine first? I'm gonna wait most likely till i finish college to rebuild my engine b/c of money and school being a priority. I was just wondering is it prrb not a good idea to be increasing the horsepower on a motor with low compression numbers in two cylinders...my car has 148K on it too. I might have to just leave it as it is and have a project when I'm done with college but then I'm afraid it will never get done! :sosad:

I would say do some nice supporting mods. Like exhaust, fuel system, and suspension. That would get your car running nice and get you ready for bigger numbers without compramising your engine yet.

yea, i was thinking of doing intcooler piping know someone that custom makes them, but i dont know if when i rebuild the engine im gonna want a FMI or not, so I don't know i think I'm just gonna get some KYB AGX shocks and eibach springs and poly bushing kit, get the suspension stuff out of the way.

Rule number 1, maintnance > mods

I'm just so anxious to begin modding the car but it comes out the worst time when I'm in college so I guess I gotta wait another 3 or 4 years, I'll just keep it looking good, maintainence up to date and everything.
