My car has been running perfect no problems, then as everyone knows that can change and it did. I was about a mile away from my house and I noticed the temp. was above half way and it never goes their, never reached the red line nor did the light ever come on. I got home and I opened the hood and I could here a boiling noise coming from under the valve cover and noticed also that their was oil bubbling from the VC gasket. It looks to me like that is where the oil might have been coming from, because it was running over the trans. and puddling under it. Would loosing oil from the VC cause the car to overheat. I would think so if their was a significant loss of oil. But I am not sure which might have been first, overheating or oil loss. Any suggestions on what I should do or check would be greatly appreciated.
