I was going to start a new thread but figured I might as well post this here...

Hi I have a set of Intrax springs on my 1g AWD with GAB shocks all around. Well after quite a few years, the front shocks have finally taken a dump and am looking to replace all four with some new AGXs. I've heard things about the Intrax starting to sag over time and I'd like to compare my overall ride height, measured from ground to center of fender, with a 1g AWD dsm with stock suspension thus allowing me to determine if I'm still at ~1.75" drop. If someone could measure their front and back wheel well heights that would be great!

Thanks guys,
Nathan

mine is 28 1/2 in the front and just under 27 1/2 in the rear. But i Don't have the head on my block. Or fluid so i would imagine with it all back on it would drop the front to 27 3/4 maybe? This is on stock suspension.

AGXs arent for lowered vehicles, only stock ride height vehicles.

Get Koni Yellows if you want the shorter shock.

True, the AGXs are stock length, but for the year and a half longer I plan on keeping this car/setup I should hope the valving doesn't blow out. Not to mention the other 80% of dsmers running AGXs on a lowered setup. The GABs that are in there are basically AGXs anyways and they lasted for over 4 years. Preferably I'd like the koni's, I just can't justify it at this point.

So I just measured up my suspension and I'm seeing 26" all around. So if your guess is right about the fully weighted front measurement, I should be right in line.

Anybody else able to measure theirs?
