Need some quick help with safc install (wiring question)

I have just one question, in the vfaq write up it says to wire the brown and black ground wires from the safc to the one ground wire for the ecu. It says the brown one must be closer to the ecu. But do i just tee both wires in having the brown one closer to the ecu or do i cut the ecu wire and feed the one side to the black wire and the ecu side to the brown wire kinda like the mas wire? I would think just to tee them in but i want to be 100% sure.

Just teee them both into the factory wire making sure the brown wire is closer to the ecu.

no do not cut the wire...when i did the instal on my neon for my safc i just spliced the brown wire in closer to the ecu and then did the black ground wire further away. you can just pull some of the wire back from the ground wire then just wrap the wire from the afc around your ground wire and solder/tape it on then jus do the same further away from the ecu with the other wire.... hope this helps you out
