I'm presently swapping out my T25 for a 14B and just noticed my oil feed lins are different. The 14B has a banjo and the T25 has male female like brake fittings. I read on the VFAQ there's a cylinder head feed location for the banjo and I can plug the oil filter feed????? SOMEONE HELP!!! LOL I'd like to have my car back on the road today.

You can plug the line from the oil filter and get a stock 1G oil feedline. If you dont have it, then it will need to be orderd.

As for the return line....you need to dremmle out the holes wider and it will work.

I have the oil feed with the banjo ends off a 1G I just need ot know where it bolts to??????

And I have a 1G and 2G return line so I'm assuming one or the other will work

Thers a little bolt on the head at the lowerleft corner of the valve cover. Line up the feedline on the turbo and see where it places the other banjo end.....right there.

Use the 1G return line.

The return line isn't what's concerning me it's that damn feed line because I can't figure out how it mounts.

I FOUND IT WOOHOO!!!! LOL However I have to wait till tomorrow morning for the damn gaskets :( So now the other question is how to plug the feed line on the oil filter housing.

Napa has brass fitting caps.....find the RIGHT thread pitch.

Make sure you get the 4 crush washers for the oilfeed line and I really hope you have the banjo bolt for the head, because the bolt that is in there now is just a regular bolt. If you dont have it call a mitsu or a chrysler dealer and order it now.

It would probably be better if you went down and showed them as well.....I got the wrong bolt 2 times before the right one....have them order them all if you want.

Also when/if you get the right one DO NOT over torque it....it will twist and break off in the head. O-U-C-H

I don't have the damn bolt, but I also just noticed my wastegate solenoid off th T25 wont work so I need one of those as well :( Off to the junkyard I go, I'll let you know how I make out. I knew this was going to be a headache.

You mean wastegate actuator. Yes you need one from a 14B 16G turbo. You might want to buy that bolt new.

Well the junkyard had the bolt (which is now in my possession) and the WGA but they want $25 for the rusty piece of crap. How do I test this thing to make sure it works? I moved the Actuator arm and it seemed to move ok. I assume you need to hook some kind of pressure up to the actuator and see if the arm moves. I would normally just get it but he's telling me no returns. I hate dealing with junkyards. :(

You could probably fab up a bracket, but that would notbe worth your time. Actuators rarly go bad. Work the arm with your hand and see if you can hear/feel pressure out the little nipple sucking and blowing out as you work the arm by hand. Try it on yout t-25 one first so you know what I mean. That will atleast tell you if the seal inside is still good.

Never thought of that. Damn you guys are helpful. :thumb: I'll just pick up that one at the junkyard tomorrow morning if it seems alright. There's a good looking used one on ebay I'l keep an eye on for a replacement just in case. This turbo swap is turning into a pain in the $%# but hopefully it'll all be worth it in the end.

It only sucks because you didnt have everything I was lucky enough to have a 2G guy help me that already did the swap. I had everything I needed and it took about 5 hours. Ill be losing the 14B here in a week or 2 for my 18G :D
