need some insight...

i have my gs-t motor finally, it didn't come with exhaust or turbo BUT i have a evo 3 16G, SS equal length header, & SS o2 housing with a TiAl 38 or 44mm wg (Cant remember which size it was, pretty sure its a 38) that i bought from a friend a *way* while back...

my main question is, what do i do with the stock IG? i mean, i heard of welding the flapper shut BUT with the style of o2 housing/wg setup i have in my possion, a flapper welded shut would equal in NO exhaust flow to the external wastegate...i would upload pics if i still had my smartphone, here's a link of what my o2/wg setup looks like.

EDIT: After taking a second look at TiAL's site, i believe i have an F41, its a spitting image of the TiAL website pic

in this case you need to have the internal wastegate kept open, so the port leading to the external gate isnt obstructed. Ive seen people wire the flap open or completely remove the flap all together.
