need some advice

Well i put some funds together and i got about 600 bucks for now to mess around with.. i have a set of 550 injectors and im looking to boost my 16g up hopefully between 18-20. im not looking to spend the money for a tune so hopefully i can pick up a eprom chipped with a keydiver.. And if so wanna give me the link so i can get it? Ii'm hoping for close to 300awhp or maybe more? You think i can get that much with 18-20psi? Ill have my front mount by then too. Also i was told i should be safe without having to have a pocket logger to monitor knock counts is this true too? Remember its a stock 7bolt with 90k on the motor. Any advice would be great.

well with the 16g i would have gone with bigger injectors to get the full potential of the turbo, i reccomend an innovative wideband,tubular manifold if you dont have one already,along with a 3"exhaust system,definately save around 250 to get it tuned properly if your going to attempt to push 20psi...i would only run 12psi until you get tuned

all the money you can throw at the car wont make a diffrence until it is tuned sorry to say but its the truth,u can accomplish well over 300hp with that turbo if tuned right

Can't i get a chip with a basemap that is close enough? I'm not trying to run 20psi all the time but probably 14-15 psi for everyday.
