Im getting so damn frustrated with my DSM...

Basically i cant turn the boost up past 8psi or so, no matter how much i turn up the boost the PSI stays the same... in another tread they thought i needed a new MBC so i grabbed a hallman to replace the turboxs p.o.s. Turns out that was NOT the problem. If anyone know why please help me out, im die'n here!

and yes its hooked up correctly. Wastegate actuator? boost leaks? wtf i dunno!?!

Your title could be a little more descriptive, but the problem sounds like the waste gate is limiting the boost. Check the actuator to see if it is bent or stuck. If not that you can always just replace the spring.

Well, do a boost leak test first. This may not solve your problem completely but it's good to do anyway.

how do i check it? im not very good at this stuff ;)
do i have to open it up? / how?

How to tell that youre wastegate is working = unplug your vacuum line. If you don't have a vacuum/boost source on the WGA, you will run unlimited boost. BE CAREFUL when you do this, it is ONLY a test to make sure that your WGA works. After you confirm that it works, make sure you don't have a giant boost leak somewhere.

well then it's your wga... try hooking the vacuum nipple on the wga directly to the nipple that your boost controller was referencing boost from and see if that changes anything. I think the wga will limit boost at 10psi... so if that works, then you know you have two bad mbc's (unlikely)... forced performance sells upgraded wga for like 100 dollars. You could just run a static amount of boost by directly hooking the wga nipple to a vacuum/pressure source aka j pipe nipple.... and not even deal with having a mbc. The choice is yours though. Good luck.
