I just got a 2g fuel rail with the stock 2gfpr on it and installed it since i broke my 1g rail with the buschur racing afpr on it , and the BR won't bolt up to 2g fuel rails.

Anyways , my car has been sitting for about 2 weeks. I got everything back together and cranked it up. It was smoking white / foggy looking smoke that didn't really have an odor and felt kind of moist , was this just condensation that has been building up ? It left a little black mark behind the muffler like carbon shot out of it or something.

The car idles at 1900-2100 RPMs and it won't go any lower eeven after screwing the BISS screw all of the way in.

I have a Walbro 255 HP fuel pump , but my FP gauge reads 45psi of fuel pressure at idle (which is 2k rpms atm).

Is my car idling like shit because of the stock regulator being back on ? Was that smoke just condensation from the car sitting ? Feel free to help me out...

First thing, a more descriptive title to the subject at hand will make searching for others much easier in the future. ;)

Did you have any problems prior to the fuel rail swap? Any other work done?

You should be at 43psi without vacuum hose. Assuming you have -20in Hg of vacuum which equals to about -10psi, you should be at 43 - 10 = 33psi with the vacuum hose on. You're basically overrunning the fpr by 12psi which is a lot. I suggest getting another 1g fuel rail so you can use the SX afpr.

Nope car ran fine prior to the fuel rail / fpr swap. I've always had the vac hose on the fpr , on both setups and the gauge was at 43 with the buschur on. I guess I need to get a damn 1g rail >_<
