i have a 95 tsi i recently rebuilt the engine it runs great but wont move in any gear ..... when i put the engine in the car i hit the NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH and broke it, i can hear a clicking noise coming from around the neutral switch when i put the car in gear and when i unplug it the clicking will stop .....i have done research on this but all i can find is that the car wont start if the switch is broke but my car starts just wont move the fluid is perfect and it has a brand new torque converter

Make sure your axles are all the way in. i was gonna say to check the 2 solenoids on the tranny are connected but even if they weren't you'd just be stuck in 3rd. As far as the neutral switch, make sure you dont have it backwards with the other connection that looks just like it. dont know what its called but its pretty close(r) to the firewall.
