need some 420a help.

Ok i have a 97 RS that has been sitting for a few years and i am about 80% done putting it back together, but a few things are slowing me down. Any help would be great, Thanks.

#1 What connects to this, and what is it?

#2 I'm blocking off the egr, so do i need this?

1. Cruise control, fuel pressure regulator, and the EGR system depending on what you have... 95+ cars won't have a vacuum referenced fuel pressure regulator and cruise control was obviously an option.

Not sure it this will help solve the #1 but its a 97 RS with ZERO options.

I've been looking all day for some hidden hoses near the firewall and haven't found anything. Where exactly is the FPR on this motor, and once again since i'm removing the EGR would i block off one of small lines(circled in blue)?

Well, then one of those ports probably connected to the EGR system, and the rest were probably blocked off. It's perfectly okay to block them all off if you're removing the EGR system. Your local auto parts store should sell rubber caps for just such a purpose.

Not in a '98... Only '95's and some '96's used vacuum referenced FPR's.

Ok just to clarify i can completely block off that tri-nipple as long as i remove the EGR stuff. Thanks for all the help.
