The solenoid mod is when you take out your boost control solenoid restrictor(2Gs). The solenoid is located under the Intake Hose attached to the frame of the car. Take it out and remember where the two vacuum hoses connect to it(which is which). Take a look into one of the holes...you'll see a restrictor. Take a screw with threads big enough to thread into the insert, it will catch, then just pull the insert out. It restricts boost by 2-3psi. Some people see huge boost spikes without the restrictor in, so don't damage the restrictor because you may want to put it back in. Enjoy...

You need a boost controller, boost gauge, and a 3" o2 eliminator downpipe with an external dump. These mods will make your car feel a better. The 3" o2 housing will make your car spool up a lot faster and give you substantial gains. I make the 3" 02 eliminator downpipes for $300.
