Garrett GT30R hybrid turbo setup from ATP .50 A/R

How does it perform on the street?
max psi it can make?
spool?

any info on this turbo would be great.

:barf: :barf: Yo, I can only offer my experience with my GT3071R, I had a Hahn 20G, totally sucked compared to the Garrett. The GT30 is freaking amazing. Hits like your getting rear ended by a truck. I had mine custom installed to my car, got the turbo right from garrett. It makes around 23lbs. of boost at 3500rpm, and holds it no prob. This turbo is so freakin streetable, I can only compare it to a big 16G that is a little laggy. And if you have ever rolled into the throttle with a bi 16G you know that tiny turbo is super responsive, the same with the GT30, instant throttle repsonse.

It's max psi is 23? or is that just the max you ran it at?
Yours had a 4" inlet, right?
How would this compare to evoIII 16g?

thanks

I have a GT3257 and it is pretty awesome. 18 - 23 PSI I would say would be your peak performance. Garret should be able to help you. If you have it internally gated your actuator is probably a min of 18 psi. External...well you know what to do then.
