Sounds like you have the lite version. You'll have to compare column headings and row headings and see if you can just clip out a portion of the full table in Excel. It'll take some manual work to adapt it.

Edit: Use this instead - v3liteconfigs [ECMTuning - wiki]

Ah, that makes sense, thank you!

I've been watching the LinkTools videos right now, and am dumbfounded that I have not come across this before. I am giddy to get this downloaded and throw in new logs (after i throw in the 2g DA tables, i will go pull some new logs) I am about to do everything you mentioned, I suppose this will be the end of my thread, as I will probably make new ones as my new problems arise. Thank you very much!

@Calan I will get my profile filled out asap! as mentioned earlier, I just replaced my fuel filter about 5-8 weeks ago! but I have 660cc injectors, and a 255lph pump. and I was once able to drive full throttle, but that was tuned via all sliders I believe, before all hell broke loose LOL. (mentioned in the first post)

Thanks everyone!:thumb:

So i was looking at the v3lite page

http://www.dsmlink.com/wiki/v3liteconfigs

when i noticed they didn't have a 2g DA octane table ( or wasnt included in the 2g download) or timing table.

So should I use the evo3 Stock tables, as they are present in the v3lite?

I do have a 16g, if that even matters, i also updated my profile with all my mods if any of that helps.

So I am trying to use the linktools, but its telling me to be able to import a log, I need things like WB, Torque, Horsepower, (according to the video) and i tried to add these to my captured logs, but it won't let me. Is this a result of the lite version?

* Nevermind I just found out how to log it all.. I had to stop catpure first!!! duh LOL

Now I just need to find a base VE table for my car... Any ideas?

Does the Load Default Settings in linktools work?

Nope, the VE table is in the ECU Settings where the timing/fuel maps are in the Direct Access section.

You should be able to get one somewhere in LinkTools on the VE tab. I don't know how exactly off hand.

Okay, so I uploaded the evo8 timing & octane in the direct access.

then I opened the VE table in the linktools and pressed Load Default, and a map popped up that resembled my Speed Density table in ECU Config Live, (not direct access) so I posted it there, went for a drive, and it seemed to feel more like it did before I ever started changing things. So if I did do all of this correctly, (which i hope i did!) I will be taking more logs tomorrow, and using the SD VE ADJUST (Combined FT) to start building a more accurate table.

Am I understanding everything correctly? LOL
