need help with tps

ok i hooked up an s-afc that doesn't read the tps signal.i checked everything its on ecu pinout 84 and there is no breaks in the wire.plus i checked the afc its good. which wire on the tps is the signal wire to the afc its on a 97 gst. any help would be great......

you need to double check the wires again. you may not have caught it but chances are its wired wrong. if the signal wire going to the ecu were broken the check eng. light would be on and the car would have acceleration problems because the ecu would not get the tps feed back. at idle the car would surge also.
