I have a completely stock automatic 97 GSX. When I bought it, I was told that it had an accident that required about $3000 to fix which it was. There are absolutely no problems with the car mechanically except for a bent rim lip when I test drove it. I looked under the hood and it was immaculate. The first thing I did after buying it was get on this forum and found out as much as I could about it but I'm kinda stuck on one issue. I've noticed an oil leak that is spraying directly underneath the thermostat housing. The spray pattern is odd and I really don't have much experience wrenching (though I'm trying to learn). My question is: What involving oil is below the thermostat housing. I'm going to try and get underneath the car and try and figure it out. Any help or insight would be much appreciated.
