need help with n/a motor

i bought a 95 gs for real cheap.

the #1 piston is cracked and #4 is nocking.

i need to know what kind of neon motor goes in. like what year and make. i now it has to be DOHC. i just need the whole block assembly. dont need the head.

what make and year does it have to come out of a doge avenger.

how hard would it be to put a 4g63 n/a motor in it. and what would have to be changed beside the obvious.

It takes a ton of work to put a 4g63 into a nt 2g. Youll need a wiring harness, custom mounts, crossmember, engine, trans, axles.......The list goes on.

Just rebuild the 420a. I am in the EXACT same boat as you. I bought a 1996 rs from one of my sisters friends for 300$ with a bad motor. I found a local parting out his 420a dsm so I'm just going to use that motor. The car should be on the road for under a grand
