Need Help with gauges

After installing my new head unit I realized that the gauge cluster and all the other idol lights(thermostat, fan, etc.) no longer light up. The floor fuse is Ok. They were working fine until my head unit was installed. there were two extra wires after installing the head unit. I believe a black w/ yellow stripe and some other one. On my head units wiring harness there is no other wires to connect. I dont get it?

bump i need to see while im driving. yes I am a dumbass for not using a wiring harness but I did not expec this to happen.

You're probably going to get locked for bumping your own thread. I would uninstall the head unit and see what happens, there's probably a short or some thing.

hey the same thing happened to my interior lights. i took it to the mitsu dealer and they said the headlight switch wasnt working and that is why the gauge lights arent working but the heater control unit i have no clue what is wrong with it. im taking my control unit out and checkin the bulbs. none of my lights work right now. the only reason i can see is cause of my indaglo gauges. can we say ghetto
