Hi well just like the post says I need help with the electrical part in my transmission swap, auto to 5 speed. The physical part of the job is done, its just the wiring issues that I have a problem with. I have searched everything so I was wondering if anybody has a link or something to guide me with the electrical wiring, for example, the clutch engaging to start the car, the reverse lights, cruise control etc......I cant get anymore of VFAQ that I already have to finish my swap so if anybody could give me steps to complete the wiring issues it would be a great help for that I have been doing this FOREVER!!! This is URGENT so please HELPPPP!! Thanks alot.

Come on Anybody, there has to be someone who could help with this, the electrical is kickin my a$$

Yeaa I already test drove it but its just the little things that i have to finish to get it running like a reg. car

The reverse lights are the two wires next to the two that you cur and connected to make the car start. They are connected to the only electrical connection in the front of the manual transmission.

As for the clutch, I did not do that part so I dont know

So how does leaving the clutch switch help prevent crankwalk??? And as for the cruise control, Im guessing most people dont even bother putting that back on.....

Sorry for a late reply. But the clutch switch not being hooked up means you dont have to push in the clutch to start it which in turn does not put pressure on teh back of the crank where the clutch is at. Because crankwalk is were the crank moves back and forth and can cause major damage. But sometimes you may never experience it.
