ok i took the valve cover off to do some checking ( engine has a clicking to it.. ) so i thought it might have been the rockers.. well they were all fine and when i went to put the cams back n place i noticed the timing belt was off.. well the problem is .. I CANT GET IT BACK ON??? need help fast .. plez thanks

Did you run the car while the belt was off?

If the timing belt was off, your valves are probably bent bro, that is your ticking. sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

To install the timing belt, reference the VFAQ. You have to have special tools, or make at least one of them.

Basically you have to take off a lot of stuff to get it on and set the tension properly and if you are going to put it on and your mileage is kinda high, i would go ahead and replace your tensioner and all the pulleys and do the BSE while you are doing that.
