hi..i'm new here...
i'm having problem with my laser. the thing is oil pressure goes up and down like hell...
i went to the mechenic shop and they said oil pump is going bad to replace the oil pump.
he said they have to pull out the engine out.
is it true and is there any other ways i can do????

two things I would do to avoid pulling the engine..

1. Clean the oil pressure sender contact(s).
2. Install a mechanical oil pressure gauge.

Rowlex is right!
First, Have the mechanic replace the oil pressure sending unit.

If problem persists, check the wiring integrity from the sending unit allthe way to the instrument gauge cluster.

Good luck
