need help picking data logging system

I would like to know what is the cheapest most effiecent tool to use for data logging and where i can get it from, thanks for any info

try to find a useful logger that comes with a palm, the loger, the entire setup. this is the most cost effective way.
there happens to be a site that sells this exactly, for the 1G, the 2G and the EVO8, and is relatively cheap, premapped software, just a complte plug-play system.
