I have question. I am fairly new to the tuning aspect of the DSM world. I know about DSMlink and safc. What I need some help with is, what is a nice and economic solution for datalogging. I would like to know the motor is doing. I have searched and a lot of things come up. Some are older threads.

I would like to eventually get DSMlink. At the moment that is not an option. I have read from the forums somewhere that a nice data logger can be had for about 100$.

Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Thanks for the link snowboarder. I was reading thru the thread, and could not figure out what kind of cable I would need to purchase. It also states that it only has support for the 98 99 models. Mine is a 97. Does the newest version support 97?

Looks like a good datalogger.

Since I got you hear. What's the biggest size injector I can go with and an SAFC. I've been reading that 550 work pretty well with it. 660 is pushing it. What do you think. Thanks.

Thats what i've been thinking. Cool. Thanks for you help. Ill just prob go with some 550 then and safc. then ill start saving for DSMlnk. Thanks again.

Any reason you don't want to just save up for DSMlink right from the start? If you go with an S-AFC, you'll have to purchase that and injectors and wire it in. Then you'll have to rip it out and potentially switch injectors (since you can run whatever ones you want with DSMlink) when you go that route.

Unless that is out of your goal set, then that's fine.
