Data logging Help???????? PLEASE!!

Just got my datalogger yesterday. Was trying to figure out if it monitors knock?? I didnt see it in the screen where you choose what to log. Can anybody shed some light. It is the Palmv PDA if that helps. Also the software is from www.obdloggers.com!!

Youhave a 2g, it wont monitor knock.

Out of these parms. what should i moniter?? o2v, timing, air flow, short trim, long trim, air temp, water temp, short trim (2), long trim (2), load. Also can some one help me with what should be SAFE logs at the above trims. I know its alot but Im new to this side of it!! Thanks in advance.

First off, when using a palm, log as little as possible.

I want to get a some base logs befor i install the 550's. I have the safc zero'ed out now. Just want to get an idea where im at and where I should be to run max boost and keep it safe. I want to be familiar with the logger befor I start to tune.

Give me a bit to think about this. I am headed out but will be someplace with wireless, I will think on my way there and do a bit of research and see what I can come up with. I had a AFC but didnt do much with it until a couple weeks before I got DSMlink.

I was told by someone on here the best ones to log are rpm, o2v, tps, timing. But in another post they told me to log airflow but my set up doesnt log airflow. but yours does. But like the other post said you dont want to log to much as it will record very slowly.

alirght that helps, so where can I find logs that have the values that I should be aiming for once I start tuning. IE>> no less than ... and no more than... for a good tune.
