Need Help identifying bolts

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

Did you start to put it back together yet? If you didnt i would start to and then you can kinda figure things out as you go. If you started already and your car is back together and everything checks out the missing some bolts isnt the best thing in the world but nothing to bang your head against the wall because of it. Also, thoose just be xtra bolt the guy just tossed in there.

ps the 3 on the top of the bolt was the "grade" of the bolt, its the hardness/ strength

I think Bolt Set 6 is the Alt Mounting Bolt.
Bolt Set 4 is your Alt Pivot Bolt.

You have many bolts there that I have never seen on my 420a so they appear to be for something else but I have a list here of what I think go's where.

Set 1: power steering bracket to block should be a longer one also 3 or 4 total
Set 2: ?
Set 3: Lower alternator bolt
Set 4: Top alternator bolt should have a fully thread bolt to go with it to tighten the tension on it
set/random 11: guessing possibly intake manifold bolts to the head
random 9: should be lower alternator nut for the bolt

Again these are just my opinions to where they may go I didn't answer to all yours sets because it is difficult to see and decipher. Maybe lay em out on a piece of paper and take photos in daylight up close then maybe more people could help.

I had a lot of support from 2gnt anyways these are the remainder of the bolts in pics Also the picture 2 is the set that is most likely going to have bolts that are not even meant for the 420a that the previous owner probably accidently through in. As for the double sided stud. That is 100 percent not from the exhaust manifold and intake manifold. the bolt is too big and the threading is not the same as the bigger double sided studs on there. Anyways thanks for the support guys. APPRECIATE
