Hi, I need help. I was told by a person that they would be able to do my trans, and its been a month and still dont know when mine will be able to get done, its not a shop its a friend of a friend so to speak i guess. Was giving cash for the install, and i have all the parts, shift kit, end clutches, trans temp block, gauge, and fluid, all ready to go, but no one to put them in.

My question is, is there any repital(sp) auto shops that is in Central Pa that i can trust besides IPT? Dont know if i could get to NJ or not, so thats why im asking. And if its got to go to NJ, what did it cost to get it installed, i have the parts from them, just need it done  Im moving next weekend and need to figure this out so i can time it right.

ship my car to NJ? thats crazy, cheaper to drive it i think... who knows, but thanks for the idea

hey dude, i know you already got a shift kit BUT IPT sells valvebody w/shift kits already installed!! seems like it makes it 10 times easier to install! and you probebly can do the rest your self man! that would save you a bunch of money and you can spend that on more mods! :thumb: plymouthlaser.com

haha NO ship your trans is what I think he means.

You cant take it to tim's?..What's he doing lately..He probably does'nt even have a job..

Yes I meant ship the trans.
But believe it or not, my friend had a 93 AWD shell flatbedded from central MD to north jersey for roughly $200, no special rates or anything...so shipping the car might actually not be too bad of an idea if you don't feel comfortable pulling the trans, but shipping the trans would still run you over a $100...
