My head unit got stolen, so now im looking for a new one. I measured the space for the head units and its roughly 8.5 inches from left to right (the other dimensions dont really matter, it seems). Anyway, most of the head units ive seen that are supposedly universal are 8.8 inches in width. My question is will these larger head units fit in the 1G Talons? Here are a few i saw:

Amazon.com: Pyle PL94MU AM/FM-MPX Electronic Tunning Radio with USB/SD/MMC Reader: Electronics

Amazon.com: Dual XR4110 AM/FM USB/SD/3.5-mm Mechless Receiver (Gray): Electronics

thanks for the help

Can someone at least give me a link to a page that has dimensions, etc for 1G Eclipses/talons?

Its a standard single din radio or you can take the pocket out and use a double din radio. I don't have the dimensions tho.
You could also check out cruthfield.com for radios that fit and 12volt.com for wiring.

All radios are the same size from left to right (width) it is the depth that you need to worry about & these cars can fit just about anything...

Also stay away from those crappy stereos. If your looking for something cheap get a JVC. They have low end models that are pretty good. You can pick them up for like $85 new & up
