head unit install help

ok so i am trying to replace my head unit that is malfunctioning.

Heres the stock one:

So i have the wiring diagram for the white plug but there are a lot of spots on the stock head unit that are not on the aftermarket one. I know i would lose my tweeters and amp, i just need to know what does what.

I'm new to the DSM world but I've been done lots of stereo work since high school (as a hobby - for myself or friends). It looks like that stock deck runs an external amp and you will need to run new wires to each speaker (strait from the new cd player).

do the not make adapter kit so you can use your factory amp

There is a plug you can buy to run the current setup as most cars have adapters. I personally put in a new amp under the seat and put in a full component setup which included the rears, doors and tweeters. Ran all new wiring as well. I'll have to redo it as I'm getting a buzz though, but that's your best solution. Just look at some audio sites and see if there is an adapter for it.

Odds are the amp "Built in" to the new head unit will sound better than the factory amp. So if you don't mind running a new pair of wires to each speaker, you would be better off doing so!
