Alright i just got my system up and running, everything works fine except my head unit is acting really weird. I know something on it is broken, but i'm just trying to see if it is repairable or not. Its an alpine deck with the 3 pre outs and all that, its a good head unit, but i cant get it to play cds. When i push the eject button the face plate folds down to let me put in a cd, and then it keeps saying eject, load, eject, load, eject, load over and over but it wont take the cd when i try and put it in. Also sometimes it doesnt display things right and stays on the same screen.

Is there a good place to take it to to see if it can get fixed, i mean does radio shack fix head units? i'm just really newbie when it comes to car electronics, i had a lot of my friends help me get everything installed.

any help appreciated.

Generally cause those things are mass produce in a machine, having a human payed hourly to try and take it apart to fix it would cost more to replace it.

Unfortunate but true. I would say there is something mechanical in the loading device or lots of dust built up inside the deck. Try getting some canned air and blowing it out real good.
