NEED HELP FAST! car is revved then dies..

hey,
I finally put my car back together and it seems to run ok (I haven't boosted yet, still breaking her in) but when the car is revved to around 5k at idle, it stumbles to "catch" itself in idle, and the car shuts off..

this also happens when coming down from a gear to neutral to coast to a stop..

any help?

are you driving at around 4 or 5k then just pushing in the clutch and putting it in neutral?

Tom, how much vacuum are you pulling? Have you pressure test yet since the head job? I think you can use the logger right about now. You should come over and check out the block so I don't have to drive the van across town, it should be here on Friday.
