im posting because i wanted to know if someone could help me in picking the right turbo setup. im currently building a 7 bolt engine that has eagle h beam rods, wiseco pistons, manely springs with titanium retainers and new valves with 4 angle grind. the cams are a 272 duration with .401" lift intake and .381" exhaust. my goal for the car is around the 400hp mark at the crank. and i was wondering if the 16g has the capability of reaching that power goal, or do i need to go with an externally gated turbo. does anyone else have a setup close to mine and has had sucess with a particular turbo? any suggestions would be much appreciated

EVOIII 16g with ease can do it. HKS 264/264 cams, EVOIII intake manifold, etc. etc. I've seen closer to 440 h.p. crank (DSMLink estimate) and around 44 lb/min in colder weather. Racing gas of course. Internal gate can easily handle it, does on mine. I'm planning on installing Kelford 272 cams and I'm looking for at least 480 h.p. crank on the same EVOIII 16g, we'll see.
